Patient Portal
What health information can I access on the Patient Portal?
The patient portal provides direct access to scheduled appointments, billing statements, current prescription lists, and lab toxicology results without needing to fill out paper release forms.
Key features include:
- Lab Results: View, print, or download toxicology and routine screening reports.
- Scheduled Appointments: Verify upcoming clinic visits or telehealth check-ins.
- Medication Lists: Review current active prescriptions, dosages, and refill schedules.
- Billing & Payments: Review account statements and pay balances directly online.
Evidence & Authoritative Reference: The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) emphasize that direct electronic access to health records empowers patients in substance use recovery, facilitating continuous care coordination and better treatment adherence (
NIH/HHS Health Information Rights ).
How do I view, download, or share my lab results?
You can view and save lab results in the Healow app by navigating to 'My Records' or on the web portal under 'Personal Health Record' within the Medical Records tab.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
From the Healow Mobile App:
- Log into the Healow app.
- Tap My Records on the options wheel.
- Select your desired date range.
- Tap Download PDF at the bottom of the screen to save or email results directly to external providers, drug courts, or parole officers.
From the Web Portal:

SAMHSA 42 CFR Part 2 Confidentiality Guidelines ).
How do I make a payment using the Patient Portal or Healow App?
You can pay your statement balance through the Healow App under 'Statements', via the Web Portal under 'Pay Your Bill', or directly without logging in at
- Fast Payment (No Login Required): Visit
healowpay.com and enter your statement verification code along with your phone number or DOB. - Healow App: Open the app, tap Statements on the navigation wheel, select your open balance, and submit payment via credit/debit card.

Evidence & Authoritative Reference: The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and NIDA highlight that reducing operational friction—such as offering simple, transparent electronic payment and account management—directly supports patient retention in outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs (
NIDA Principles of Drug Addiction Treatment ).
