How can I become an Ideal Option patient?
Do you have wait lists for new patients?
No. We never have wait lists. Most new patients can be seen within 24 hours or even on the same day depending on your clinic's hours of operation.
What can I expect during my first appointment?
During the first appointment we gather a comprehensive history, perform a physical examination, and test a urine sample to see what substances are in your system so we can tailor your treatment plan. Depending on your substance use history, you may be issued a prescription and your second appointment scheduled. While each patient is unique, the average length of the first appointment is about 1 hour.
How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
Can I make a new patient appointment for someone else?
Yes, you can. Please call 1-877-522-1275 or start a live chat session on this website. You will need to be prepared with the patient's date of birth, insurance information, and social security number.
Can I bring a friend or family member with me?
Yes, we welcome your loved ones and supporters to accompany you to your Ideal Option appointment.
Do I need a referral to become a new patient?
No, we don't require referrals for you to start treatment with us.
I used to be a patient but stopped my treatment, how do I start again?
We encourage and welcome your return to Ideal Option. If it's been more than 6 weeks since your last appointment, you will start over as a new patient. If it has been less than 6 weeks, you may be able to pick up where you left off. Call us at 1-877-522-1275 to discuss your options with our patient care team.
